I'm so bad at this...been meaning to blog forever now. What is new?? Courtney and Kacie are back to school ;)...Courtney is in 4th grade she is getting so tall and beautiful..her diabetes is going good..its great to have tons of family to support me...i say tons i mean Erlands mom and my mom help a lot...so nice to be around family.
Kacie is doing well she is in 1st grade and is a really great reader they both are. :) She learned how to reide a bike this spring with no training wheels...super proud of her! There are so many things i just can't think....
My brother and Kara r getting married in October excited for that...DeeDee and Peter are getting married in a week!! :) The girls are in the wedding can't wait to take pics of that day.. :)
Buster Mandy and Camdeon are here to visit so nice to see them and there little man :)
Darcy had her baby girl :) so beautiful!

As for me in school full time should be done by the end of summer next yr!! Love it thought not watching the twins anymore :( miss them but i babysit them from time to time ;) I don't do babysitting anymore...its a much needed break now focusing on a real future...just can't survive on paycheck to paycheck anymore... so many things i want that i can't have...i put my kids first and me last :) thats how all good mommas do things...

Erland is still working for Pool enviroments getting overtime and got a raise so that is good.. doing alot of odd jobs to earn money...comes in handy..Djing for weddings and parties cutting ppls firewood..glad he is a hard worker to help support me and the kids so i can go too school.

Ok...so i'm going to Andover College 2 nights a week starting in Dec ...to get my Medicial Assist. I still need to go for a test ...and go get my shots up to date... :) I'll be ready to roll..

We've had a bit of a scare still a little bit of one....with Erland's job....A while ago they built a unit (its for there rec/inside pool) for Bently's College in Mass..Units r a big medal boxthat go on a roof that has a moter inside and vents on the side... to keep the indoor pool area at a right temp..

Well Bently's been complaining that things aren't working...well there r construction workers there and Erland's boss thinks they might be breaking stuff up there...they have gone to Mass 3 times to fix things this last time they passed inspection..now its a matter of waiting 4 the money they owe 200,000 dollars. There boss at Pool enviroments (Erlands Work) said the company can't take a hit like that...if things don't go right...well the other day they said (Bently) the computer program is messed up needs a new one...So Bill the bosss from Pool Enviroments went down and redid the program...hopefully this is it and they don't have anymore probs ...what a mess...hopin and prayin that this doesn't make ppl lose there jobs...

On a happy note Parent Teachers Conference was last night....Girls did awesome....Kacie is reading at a 3rd grade level which just blew us away,,,..and Court is reading well over her level and is doing good in math...and her cursive is so neat better than mine...there sooo SMAAAAT!

I have tons to say about the girls and Erland but i'm being selfish and talking about myself :)
I'm going back to school....hoping Andover!! If i get in..i'm going Thursday to apply..i've given this alot of thought so much thought i hardly slept last night thinkin how to go about this...i like to have my R.N but i need to take Chem yuck! I tried calling CMCC 3 times in 2 days ...no return calls a little irrated with that...o well..so my thought is get my Medicial Assist...work in a doctors office and if i want to move up i can take Chem and then enroll in CMCC to finish my credits...i might be happy being a Medicial Assist..its going to take me awhile to get through school i have to go part time..cause i need to have income coming in on my part..work and school is going to be it for awhile..I like to go full time and prob get it done in a year..not going to work Erland could get a second job...that might to much on him and us! The question is will he make up the difference? A lot more to talk about and think about...i'm really excited ...and want to puke lol Keep me in your prayers that i get in i feel real good about this...

I can't believe 3rd grade...what a kid she is going well with her diabeties what a trooper...she's growing up so fast i watch home videos of her and makes me so sad she isn't a little girl anymore toddling around ...shes excited for school to learn cursive this year..and see all her friends..

Thought i share to u all what happens when i leave the girls alone with Erland..... i went to Y.W and Y.M on Wednesday we were doing a video scavenger hunt we drive around town looking 4 clues....we were in two teams and in my car was Me Juli Philip Amber Austin and Ryan...Juli was sitting in the middle front as i was driving headed to our next clue...hen i get a text message from Erland "Kacie has cut her own hair" i wanted to flip out but new i had a carful and i was driving...i told him send me a pic...this is what she had done...

She wasn't too impressed with Dee Dee ............Dee Dee came down the next morning to fix it...Kacie was all find with getting her hair cut until Dee Dee said go look in the mirror...she looked didn't say a word..closed the bathroom door and sat on the tolite with her arms folded and pouting...but after a good hour she came around from hiding under the bed covers...he looks cute with its such a big change...she is gtting use to it too...i don't think she will do that again...

Today at church i heard the most heartbreaking story... (i don't feel its my place to tell it to u all )...it just made me cry to hear it and i still tear up just thinkin of it..And it made me think of a friend of mine who has cancer and she is my age she has 3 children....but it really made me stop and think of how thankful i am and blessed for my family. How wonderful Erland really is and my girls...How thankful i am for my trials ...its made me such a strong person..today my trials seem so minor compare to what these two brave and strong woman have to face..my prayers r with them both and there families...

On a happier note a magic word we haven't heard in over 6 months is OVERTIME! Erland started working at Pool Enviroments in Westbrook 3 wks ago. Our Bishop is his boss and helped him get in...Hancock cut is hrs back in March 32 hr week...ouch we couldn't survive if he stayed there and who knows if that place will stay open. Pool Eviroments is a growing and there looking for a bigger building. I know this place will be around for awhile. Erland loves it its so laid back..hes not use to that Hancock was bust ur butt nonstop. I'm so glad he is there...

Yesturday Erland and his Mom went up on the Mountain...Erland needed to ct firewood for us and Mom hasn't been up in 20 yrs i believe...they had a great time here r some pics of the Cabin...mom cleaned it up the outhouse mom fixed the door all while Erland cut wood.

Yesturday we went to the Children's Discorvory Museum in Bangor....My Dad drove me and the girls to Augusta to meet Mike Kara and Laela...Laela Birthday is on the 18th so they treated my girls to the Museum for her birthday...the Museum had A Faries in the Forest theme...the girls dressed as Faries...they watched a ballet and got learn to dance with the faries..had a tea party and do crafts then we got to tour around the museum what a neat place...the girls had a ball and us adults had just as much fun!

Ummm sorry haven't done a new post in awhile.....i've been reminded (Thanks Darcy)

A lot has happen and alot is coming up! I turned 30...in Feb a first i was greatly depressed but now its ok!! I still have the twins 9 months old now! There so good i love them too pieces...I'm really exsited that the snow is gone....we had a ton of it! I can't wait to do yard work plant flowers..have a garden..enjoy my kids outside...

Kacie...is doing great she is reading! I'm so happy this will give her a nice head start for school this fall... (AHHH!) I have 2 goals for her this summer reading is one and riding a bike without Training wheels! Kacie is doing really well in OT... shes going to go this summer a few days a week..

Courtney ....is doing great with her diabetes...she is lovin this weather so she can ride her bike..shes spent the night at a friends house and gone with friends for the day...i have like a mental breakdown while shes gone mostly worried how she is doin..she calls me everytime she eats so i know...its so hard.. Shes doin great in school got her report card the other day ...shes at a level 32 in her reading and she needs to be at a 27 i think for the end of the year! Were havin an attitude issue with her....Erland is so funny! He gets idea from Super Nanny...we have a sticker chart in our kitchen the girls have to do certain things to earn a sticker. This is all Erlands idea love it...they get a frown face when they don't do it...its working good been 5 days so far..
I'm getting Kacie to try new foods 2! They both do they need to eat what i fix no more fixin 3 different meals!

Somethings were looking forward 2 is Court's birthday...going to jokers and getting baptised all in the same day!!! Plus a secert she doesn't know i'm taking to get her ears pierced this week she has off. She's been begging her dad and he finally said ok to me...she doesn't know so SHHH!

I'll add pics after Courts b day and baptism!! I have snow pics and easter and some of the twins to add!!

Resolutions...

Its a new year...time for ppl to make New Years Resolutions. Erland and i talked about what we were going to do this Year....I took all of his resolutions...He wants to be in a 32 by Memorial day and eat healthy. No Sweets. (I could take someones arm off for Chocolate some days. I didn't take that one. As i eat a Choc kiss) I do want to lose 15 to 20 more lbs.

And basically better ourselves. Physically Mentally and Spiritually. Just going to take baby steps...i overwhelm myself I'll give up on things...I mention today i was going to be more patient and loving. Courtney and Erland laughed. I took that as a hint i need work in that area. :) I think Erland wants me like Caroline on Little House on the Prarie. I have no comment to that.. ;) Hope everyone had a good New Year!

Ok i know all i talk about is Courtney and her diabetes well its kind of runs my life u know....

Well tonight Court experienced her first low we all did. Tonight at supper it was a little after 5.. she was crying saying she felt low...i told her check ur b/s. She said to me "I tried eating something" which makes no sense. Should of been my first clue. She uses alcohol wipes for her fingers well she goes 90 miles an hour and u need to let it dry or u won't get a right reading...she was 184. I thought she was just physically tierd. She did get up early. I told her supper will be ready in 5 min add it to ur pump..give it time to work. Well it must of over did it cause we sat down to say a blessing she wouldn't fold her arms...we said it again told her fold her arms nope nothing ...Erland is getting mad and i was like whats going on...I took her b/s 76..well that wasn't right. I told Erland get her some juice. I told her "take the Juice" she couldn't I put it to her mouth and got her to drink it..Mean while I'm crying..Erland is Freakin and crying...We asked her How old she was she couldn't talk....Kacie speaked up "She's 7" God Love her. We asked her "Our names" Kacie would speak up and tell her..Same with Courtney's teacher..."It's Mrs Cram" Erland took over with the Juice. I pulled her to the side and asked her to fold her arms like mom what does she do pull her pants down. I called the Diabetes center and have her doctor call me back...well after i left a message a min or 2 later Erland says she is better and she was..Olshan called I told his what happen he was like was her hands clean...needless to say no more wiping with Alcohol wipes. Wash the hands...the meter works i tested it..she must of been under 40 cause she was 41 before her lowest and wasn't disoriented.

I apologized to her for getting mad and freakin...i just didn't know what was doing on..She couldn't remember...she thought it was a dream. All this happened in 15 min long enough to get the juice workin...one scarey time. Now we know...i should of thought she wasn't making sense when she said I tried to eat something 3 times in a row...the babies were leaving and supper was starting. Just wasn't thinking thought she was tierd from getting up early and was hungry she is an emotional girl. We pulled through... i thought i sit down while it was still fresh in my mind..maybe my next blog won't be on diabetes...:)

Yesterday Courtney is officially on the pump! What a difference as far as no shots....i want to give her one but then i stop and think o yeah ur all set..

She knows how to put her B/S in and add in her carbs. So easy....the next few weeks we need to check her B/S at Midnight and 3 a.m and keep in contact with the nurse everyday...well Thanksgiving weekend were alone.. hope everything runs smoothly..:/

On Thanksgiving if she wants seconds she can add it in and eat all day if she wants...

Before i had her wait and add everything she wanted at one time...at breakfast and lunch and supper...when ur on the shot u really need to stick with eating certain times of the day...no snacking here and there...which happens shes 7 can't control everything..so far so good..she goes to school today ..hopefully all goes well.. :)

Ok I'm sooo pumped i need to share. Things r so looking up for me and the family right now...No Erland didn't get the job...and no we didn't find a cure for Court. She still has Diabetes and her friends parents r still... completely Anal.

But really I been watching two beautiful twin girls almost 4 months old! There coming full time next week!!! More money.... Christmas is looking better...not only that but I'm completely attached to these girls..i love them so much! So happy..been struggling so long...this is just so great..

Ok have to share my day. Today was a half a day. Courtney had her twin friends over Courtney.E and Madison. Well there mom doesn't like me as it is so I'm surprise they came over. Well today the girls wanted to ride there bikes on the camp road next door. So i said sure I walked over with Kacie. All the kids in the neighborhood was riding there too. All Fammily lives around here. So I was out watching and Kacie went in her Aunt Darcy's house. I went in and watched them through the window. Then i didn't see them go by I figured they might of went home so i got Kacie and asked the boys outside where they went. They said they went home and the two Courtney's were fighting. I walked down...and saw My Courtney and Madison by our Nana's house. Right next to mine. Well i was talking with them. And asked where Courtney. E was. Madison said she went inside to get a sweater. So i see her come out crying and asked her what was wrong. Courtney. E said u scared me. I was like i scared u? She was yes I didn't know where u were and I called my mom and she is coming to get me. I was like Great to myself. Mine u the woman doesn't like me anyway cause i didn't put them in booster seats. Thats another story. Anyway both Courtneys r crying cause they were fighting to begin with over Sadie's Scooter(myNeice) Plus the fact courtney.E called her mom. I'm thinking i really don't need this drama today. I get them in the house finally and My Courtney is balling in her room over all this Madison is like whatever...the other courtney is crying at the kitchen table. And Kacie is going around figuring out what everyones problem is.

So there Dad shows up 20 min later...he's pretty nice...His courtney comes out crying and I start to tell what happen. There mom told him "I think they left them alone" Come on now! We all smoothed things out. Seriously!

I'm having a major issue with e bay! I'm trying to sell a Miami Dolphin Helmet twice now and both guys or gals blew me off! No communication. Seriously! Thought it would be a easy way to make some easy cash... with x mas coming and all. ERRRR so frustrating.

New Job

Erland has applied for the Job as Head of Maintenance for the LDS Church's is our area. This is the first time in a long time i really felt good about his Job choice...he's done the Sawmill life since 1994. And he does need a change...he's been going with the person who does it now (Rick). It's like Job Shadowing...when Erland has a day off he goes with Rick. He shows him what to do and Erland does it all. I'm really hoping this will help him get it. If he does get it he gets a company truck that he can pick out. He can only use it for work but the pay for the truck, the gas and so on. He gets paid from the time he leaves his driveway. So he basically can set up his own hours...Which means i could go back to work! Anyway back to Erland...There's great benefits on his own. PLUS it's through the church so u know ur going to be around NICE PPL! Not around the bad language and smoking. A better working environment.

Erland hasn't been professionally trained in a lot of the areas but if something major needs to be done. In plumbing ..electrical..ect he needs to call them...it's part of his job as keeping up with the churches keeping them looking nice. I'm really praying and hoping that he does get it...a small part of me is doubting. I hope I'm wrong. This will be really great for our whole family financially.....

A little blurb about Kacie...I have to recommend Kacie's preschool... Ot to Play. It has been so helpful and truely has made a difference in Kacie.

Two years ago we as a whole family were concern that Kacie may have Autism or off the spectrum of Autism. She has some symptoms very little eye contact, show very little emotion, Sensory issues, alot of scripted language.... there were a few others...but i had 2 years before she started kindergarden to get her some help. Through alot of testing she was diagnoised with P.D.D Pervasive Developemental Disorder which is off the Autism Spectrum. She has been going to Ot now since Sept 07. She has speech, denelopemental and occupational theropy 5 days a week for half a day. In one year what an amazing difference. She barely does any scripted language..Animals still bother her but its so nice now to go to our friends house with out her screaming her head off..I can take her any where i was limited to just Walmart to take her shopping forget the mall or other new big department stores or Fairs ect with huge crowds... it WAS impossible but now she is great. She has some sensory isssues that i can see that need to be worked on if we can get pass that she will be ready for KIndergarden in 2009!

For those of u who don't know Miss Courtney Jean .....she was diagnose with type 1 diabetes in March 2008. Well she is doing really well with it. Giving her own injections pricking her finger. Very Awesome! Today we went to the Dr. to learn more about the pump. Which sounds all so over whelming at first but will be alot easyier on all of our lives. The pump if your not fimiliar with it... Is as small as a pager or a small cell phone. And it stays clipped to ur belt or pants. (Like a pager) Theres a long tube thats attached to the pump and to that is the patch thats the size of a quarter. Theres a needle attached to the patch that gets inserted in u. At a 90 degree angle. The needle gets pulled out leaving a little tube in u. So the insulin can get into ur body. Its the greatest thing for diabetics. No more shots. She leaves the patch on for 2 to 3 days and moves to another area..... the stomach and theigh! WEll she went home today with just the patch on so she can get the feel of it. They have numbing cream to put on the area it takes like 45 min to work so she didn't feel a thing. I'm kind of wondering how she will do taking it off. She can leave it on until Saturday. We will go again and she will get a pump with Saline solution in it to kind of practice and see if she likes it. Never know she might not. It sure beats having 6 or 7 shots a day. INSANE!!! Keep ya posted.
